Reimbursement by health insurance providers
Hearly is not affiliated with any healthcare insurance provider, although over 98% of our clients have received a reimbursement from their healthcare insurer. The hearing aids at Hearly are low priced which makes it appealing to buy hearing aids from us. Since there is no contract with the health insurance providers, we cannot apply for reimbursement on your behalf. If you wish to apply for a reimbursement, you will be required to submit a cost estimate directly to your health insurance provider. We will send you an indication of the costs, a specified invoice and all the required documentation. Nearly all our clients have succeeded in obtaining reimbursements. If you have private healthcare insurance, the costs are generally reimbursed directly. For those with statutory insurance, it may require going through a few more steps before receiving your reimbursement.
If you are insured with a private health insurance company, it is usually the case that the reimbursement differs from the statutory health insurance companies. Often, the subsidy is higher.
