Description
The Resound One is the direct successor to the successful Resound Quattro series. It also contains a completely new chipset with a powerful sound processor. It has 50% more computing power and 220% more memory than its predecessor.
Not only has the chipset been renewed, but Resound has also developed a completely new and innovative loudspeaker. There is also an additional microphone in the M&RIE speaker. There are now no less than 6 microphones available in the hall. This allows you to activate the Ultra Focus to participate in 1:1 conversations in the most complex listening situations. An invisible beam of sound detection, Ultra Focus focuses on the speech directly in front of you.
The placement of a microphone in the pinna is not unique, but the idea behind it is plausible. More use is now made of the natural shape of the pinna to determine the direction from which sound is coming.
Another advantage is that you will experience less wind noise. Wind is much more difficult to reach the microphone, which is placed in the ear canal.
Unfortunately, the M&RIE speaker is not suitable for hearing losses that are more severe than about 70 dB. The Resound One is then set with a standard high power loudspeaker.
All Access Directionality ensures that the various functions automatically adjust as the environment changes. You can still use the Smart 3D app to adjust the hearing aids as needed.
Depending on the streaming time, the batteries need to be replaced after about 4-6 days. This model is slightly smaller and slimmer than the rechargeable version. The push button can be used to adjust the volume or the programme.
