Since the Oticon OPN hearing aid came on the market in 2016, audiologically there have been no better hearing aids until the Oticon OPN S hearing aid came on the market. The reason why this is such a good hearing aid has to do with the fact that the noise processing and the chip in the hearing aids are unique. Oticon developed the chip themselves, which made it faster than other hearing aids. More than 100 times per second, all the sounds around you are processed and analysed. This gives the brain much more information and means that the brain itself does not need to fill in gaps. The brain needs less energy to listen and you hear comfortably without much strain.
As a basis, all hearing aids work with a monodirectional microphone to eliminate noise around you, so you can concentrate on the speaker in front of you. The OPN S hearing aids do not use a monodirectional microphone, but instead all sounds are heard in the right proportions. You hear what is going on around you, but the focus is on the person you are talking to.
The OPN S 1 is the absolute top model in the OPN S series. This hearing aid will support you best in any situation. It is often said: "If it doesn't work with the OPN S 1, it won't work with any hearing aid". The sound is very natural and our clients confirm that they can get used to the hearing aids very easily.
If you compare the OPN S hearing aids with other brands, you will see that some features are missing, which gives a distorted picture. The hearing aid is then slightly larger and has a toggle switch instead of a push button.

Service as it should be, didn't feel like just another number like most audio centers... super service!!!
After testing several devices, ended up with these and they give me the feeling of being able to hear normally and not so metallic sounds or with the other devices, very happy with them. And the service was also very good and well guided. Super!

Great for people who don't understand speech in noise, great service from Oog voor Oren
These are my first hearing aids. My hearing is not bad, but I am seriously hard of hearing when I have to understand speech in noise (a lot of talking, wind, passing traffic, noise from the engine in the car,...). These hearing aids have made my (social) life a lot easier. I don't have to concentrate so hard anymore to understand someone, I don't have to rely so much on lip reading, people don't have to repeat themselves all the time and I'm much less tired and irritable in the evenings. It's not a magic solution, I still have to concentrate a bit more than someone else, but it's a huge difference. That's why I wear them all the time and wouldn't want to be without them.
I am also very satisfied with Oog voor Oren's service. Personal, friendly, helpful and quick to respond to questions or aftercare. Highly recommended!
