I should pay about 2100 € extra for my current hearing aid at the local hearing aid acoustician. Therefore
I contacted Hearly by e-mail with the question of whether I could also claim the co-payment of the health insurance with you. Thereupon I received a call back from Mrs. Geradts. Ms. Geradts contacted my health insurance company and gave me the information that if I submitted a cost estimate before ordering, my health insurance company would pay their contribution to the costs to me. After checking with my health insurance company, I received the same positive information. I then received the cost estimate from Hearly and submitted it. and ordered the hearing aid from Hearly. After I sent my medical prescription to Hearly, I was sent a preset hearing aid and made an appointment with Mrs. Geradts for a fitting with Mr. Harbet, Hearly's hearing care professional. I then fine-tuned the hearing aid with Mr. Habets over the phone. Since Mr. Habets speaks very good German, as does Mrs. Geradts, there were no communication problems. After three more fine-tuning sessions, I am now wearing my hearing aid without any problems and feel comfortable with it. I wear the hearing aid as naturally as I wear my glasses. Even with glasses there are moments that would be better without, so it is with the hearing aid. After the quality of the hearing aid and its adjustment was checked by my ear specialist, I requested and received the health insurance subsidy.
Conclusion: Hearly is competent and I can advise with a clear conscience to buy your hearing aid here.
Who has a problem with an app handling, should organize a help for the first fine-tuning/remote maintenance, just to feel safe. Mr Habets is very patient though. I would be happy if more like me would opt for the really cheaper solution with Hearly. I am really very satisfied.
