Pleasant introduction, good test run, clear trial period with good minor correction on adjustment. Got used to it surprisingly quickly for me.
Appliances are really an improvement.
Because my previous hearing aids (resound ) had been in use for 6 years and the development of these devices is constantly improving, I went looking for new devices. My existing hearing aids were very satisfactory in conversation from man to man, but when turning up the volume, the sound became metallic which reduced understanding. My previous audiologist is retired so I started searching the internet for new devices. In this search the website of OogVoorOren stood out. They distribute very many brands, list the price of the devices and also the features of the devices. By comparing the features, the Oticon More 1 More 1 minirite seemed to me to be one with better features. I then made an appointment with OogVoorOren. My hearing was thoroughly tested and the results and my wishes discussed. The audicien, Mieke Stevens, was very neutral and certainly not pushy in the choice of the device, so I finally chose those 'Oticon More 1' devices. I have been wearing these instruments for a month now and they are really an improvement over my old ones. They have no metallic sound, so I can understand people better again. I can hear the sounds of the environment (birdsong, traffic, ...) much better. The sound of the TV is much quieter and it is now my wife who asks me to turn up the volume. The people around me also notice that I hear better. Understanding at family gatherings is also better, real busy environments I have not been able to test yet. All in all, so far it is a big improvement over my previous instruments.
