I got quite acute hearing loss in 1 ear; so I only have 1 device. Although the Widex produces a less irritating sound than other tested devices, for a frequent visitor to the concert hall and owner of an expensive High End Audio system, it is quite a disappointment. On one ear (still) beautiful sound, on the other a rather shrill speaker that blows sound into your ears. Hearing aids have a minuscule "speaker" and the quality is, partly due to the limited frequency range, not close to an in-ear headset of about 100 Euro. Ultimately quite disappointing, but this review is not about a high end headphone. Hence 4 stars everywhere, although it actually feels differently.

With this device I hear better, but the intelligibility of speech is hardly improved. I understand people still mainly with my good ear and understanding with one hearing aid is sometimes better, but often worse because of the two totally different sound experiences. But of course you can turn it off ;-)

good audiologist

My demented mother (95) has had these hearing aids for a few months now.
We always had to speak loudly to her and sometimes she still didn't hear what was being said. With these new hearing aids it is much better now.


My son recently took a walk with grandma in the wheelchair. Despite the noise outside and him walking behind the wheelchair, he could just talk to her and she could understand him.



I am very pleased with these hearing aids for my mother and the wonderful way in which they were fitted by the audiologist from "Oogvoororen", She was very skilled, patient and loving towards my mother and tireless in repeating what she wanted from my mother. so kudos to her too!


When I myself need new hearing aids I will certainly buy them from "Oogvoororen".
