My first hearing aid, 10 years back, was also a Phonak. I controlled the volume with right for louder and left for softer. With the Lumity, you can adjust the volume on both sides. This is very inconvenient, because you have to go by feel to press the button in your right spot. Louder and softer are very close together.

super,glad I got them
I have only good experience with the hearing aids.
It takes some getting used to in the beginning.
But that's only a few times.
Now i simply put them in my ears and i don't really notice anything.
i also had to get used to the sound of birds singing outside.
at first i was quite skeptical about it,but now i am very happy with my hearing aids.
it has enriched my life.
