My "old"hearing aids had multiple settings that I had to adjust regularly. This is no longer necessary, the devices adapt themselves to the environment. Some sounds that used to come in incredibly loud, such as putting cutlery in a drawer, the water boiler, or flushing a toilet, are now much easier to bear. With the box next to the TV I can watch TV without disturbing my surroundings or watch TV with my partner without having to turn on the subtitles. I can hear the direction the sounds are coming from much better. All sounds sound a lot more "natural". I used to switch off the old equipment regularly when I was home alone; now I just forget about it because the sound is so much better.

From the first moment (June 2020) that I came to Oog voor oren I have been helped by the audiologist and Lyric specialist, Mrs Tanja Oomen. I have a hearing loss of more than 50%. On her advice I made my final choice for Oticon Opn S 1 miniRite T in September 2020.
Appointments were kept punctually and I have had ample opportunity to use the trial period without any pressure from her.
I can communicate with others again and enjoy the TV with a streamer again.

Knowledgeable staff and good guidance. Honest advice. Hearing aids that suit me, so definitely not the most expensive but the best for me.

Through the trial period of two months there was sufficient opportunity to get used to the devices and to adjust them.

Riek and Wil van LOON both have a hearing aid from Oogvoorhoren and are generally satisfied. But not always. According to us this has to do with the fact that the devices are completely different when it comes to recording. When the sound of the TV is on Riek's reception is much too loud when the sound is good for Wil. The place on the couch in the living room in fact determines the strength of the sound. Riek uses her hearing aid almost always when she is watching television. Wil only uses the hearing aid when there is no captioning on 888. Otherwise he also uses a separate device that works perfectly. His hearing in combination with the caption is almost always sufficient to hear everything well. Furthermore, the experience is that the device works well with a speaker, but in group noise and especially outside in traffic there is too much other sound to be heard and it works annoyingly.

I am very satisfied.
