Should have done it much sooner
Fortunately, now hearing aids that really "can be adjusted" are available.
Previously I had, with another supplier, also hearing devices where I could never get used to. Oa much too sharp sound eg.

Do it! Is worth money!
I especially went for this device because of the natural sound of my own voice, and the possibility to charge the battery. No hassle with batteries, so convenient.
Furthermore it remains difficult to understand people in large groups with lots of background noise, don't expect miracles!
The home audiologist is a gift. Works brilliantly and helps a lot.

I use this mic at meetings at my work with over 30 people. I can follow it very well. You can easily take it with you in included case.

I had another test running with the Roger pen and found it very tiring to listen to. Also a lot of noise/side-effects. Fortunately came the Roger Select on the market. This I can use a whole day without it being extremely tiring. It is noise-free, even when it is on the table.
The intelligibility is good.
I clip the Roger Select onto my own clothing as this suits my work situation best. The disadvantage is that he mainly picks up my voice and less the voices of people around me. This can not be adjusted according to Phonak.

comfortable, easy to wear, works fine
In my search for a suitable hearing aid, I finally found the Starkey Muse after having tested many devices;
The device is custom made and invisible worn in the ear.
Unfortunately my ear canal was a bit too narrow so it is somewhat visible.
I am very pleased with it, not only because I hear better, but also because the ease of wearing it is such that wearing it is a plus.
In addition, the risk of loss is small because you feel it in the ear as opposed to wearing it behind the ear.
Can recommend it to everyone and in the search for a suitable hearing aid, the Starkey Muse should not be forgotten;
