With this Widex Moment I can recognize voices again. Music via CD or streaming is often not very nice, classical orchestra is usually unbearable. Jazz trios and quartets are fine. Rock 'n Roll and TV is a mixed blessing, sometimes good, sometimes not worth listening to in terms of sound reproduction. It seems like some microphones are just bad or there is a jodokus jelly on the mixer.

It is a matter of getting used to and that takes quite a long time. I also have the feeling that my hearing is still changing/improving.

These are the first hearing aids I have purchased. In the past few years I have tested various devices at different shops/chains but I was not really satisfied with them. This year I contacted OogVoorOren to take the plunge. I made an appointment on the website and not much later an audiologist (Marco) came to visit me at home. After an intake and a thorough measurement he soon had the model in mind, the Widex Moment 440 mRic -m rechargeable.
After a 6-week trial period, I was actually sold. The sound of the Widex is very natural and arrives in your ear without noticeable delay. After a while, you just forget you're wearing them! Following conversations and meetings is great again and that's what I was after.


Another really nice feature of the Widex is that you can call hands-free. I use this a lot, especially when working from home.


Because the Widex phones are free market devices, I also tested category 5 phones to get a good comparison. However, these devices had a less pleasant sound and a noticeable delay.


I have the whole process of intake, measurement and trial period as very pleasant! I am very happy with the Widex and find it very helpful every day.

A check-up at the ENT revealed an incipient hearing loss.
Due to the Corona mask and glasses, only in-ear devices were an option for me.

Until now I'm happy with it and will have to accept that it will never be the same again. Considering that, it does give me a lot more. I don't have to apologize every time I don't understand.

problems in closed rooms with several people (cacophony) and in the car (a lot of background noise)...

I listen a lot of classical music...: my problem: the music has no quality anymore (not musical enough, too technical).

After my wife 3 years ago also bought one at Oog voor Oren and my sister in law I have been tested by Jeroen and now in 2021 it was time to get the advice to take a hearing device after 3 tests, first hearing app. signa was no success for me second was a Phonak works excellent.
