I have been looking for a suitable hearing aid for about a year. I started at "Hörgeräte Seifert" in Munich. I tried three different devices, all behind the ear, either with battery or with rechargeable battery. I had almost decided on a device from the company Signia, the Pure 5x Charge&Go at a price of 5196€, when I accidentally read that the "company Fielmann" not only fits and sells glasses, but also hearing aids. With the offer of the company Seifert I asked at Fielmann. Fielmann offered me the same device for 3948€. The company Seifert could not sell me the device for this price, so I canceled the consultation there. The consultation hours and tests of the different hearing aids I had so far were free of charge.
I then switched to Fielmann and wanted to try an "in-ear" device there. This was possible without any problems. I was fitted with a device that was made to measure for the inner ear, but which largely sealed the ear canal airtight. That was rather unpleasant. For example, I could hear my own chewing noises very clearly. I then tried a device that is also placed in the ear, a Signia Silk 5x, but does not seal the ear canal so tightly, air could still get into the ear. I tried the Pure 5x Charge&Go and the Signia Silk 5x in the restaurant, in the cinema and in the theater. I could hear better with the Pure 5x, so I wanted to buy this one. Then came the unpleasant surprise: Fielmann had increased the prices in the meantime, the Pure 5x should now no longer cost 3948€ but 4493€. This upset me so much that I also canceled the consultation at Fielmann. This was also possible without any problems. The consultants of the company Seifert and also of the company Fielmann showed understanding for my decision.
Then I searched the Internet and found the offer of the company Hearly, at an unbeatable price. I asked for an offer for the Pure 7AX Charge&Go, a device that is even better (and more expensive) than the 5x. The offer came very quickly. All I had to do was send the acoustics protocol from the ear doctor and measure a certain length on the ear, and send both to the company with email. After payment, the hearing aid was fitted according to this information and sent to me. It all sounds very quick, but it wasn't quite. There were delivery problems and staff problems, so everything was delayed a bit. But now I have been using the device for a couple of months and am very happy with it. The fitting to my hearing has been so good that I have not needed any additional consultation. Based on my experience, I would buy another device from Hearly in a heartbeat.
